Job summary

The Food Program Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada oversees CACFP operations, assuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules while coordinating menus, budgets, and reimbursements to support nutrition services for club members.

Reporting to the COO, the role leads staff, audits, training, and community partnerships, ensuring high-quality nutrition programs and accurate record-keeping across sites in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Management, Public Health, Nutrition, Culinary, etc.).
  • Three years of program management/CACFP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to train staff and vendors on CACFP regulations.
  • Southern Nevada Health District food safety certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; valid Nevada driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CACFP daily operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor program policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with food vendors on menus and reimbursement eligibility.
  • Monitor CNS compliance and conduct site/vendor visits.
  • Prepare reports and manage CACFP documentation and audits.
  • Supervise staff and provide training on CACFP requirements.
