Job summary

The Food Service Coordinator at Empower Campus works with the Senior Food Service Manager to prepare, serve, store, and clean up a variety of nutritious meals for the CACFP program. This role ensures compliance with health and safety standards and organization policies within the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.

You will monitor menus, accommodate special diets, help with daily operations and training, and maintain inventory under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in food service and preparation required.
• Experience with CACFP preferred.
• Ability to follow and maintain knowledge of a complex federal nutrition program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, apportion, and serve nutritious meals per CACFP and policies.
• Follow monthly meal menu.
• Monitor special diets and nutrition plans.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Take food temperatures and rotate stock.
• Determine production schedules and staff needs.
• Operate commercial-grade equipment safely.
• Attend trainings for the nutrition program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
