Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire is seeking a Food Service Coordinator to prepare, serve, store, and clean a variety of food items at Empower Campus. You will work with the Senior Food Service Manager to ensure CACFP compliance, health and safety standards, and organizational policies.

The role requires experience in food service, the ability to follow complex federal nutrition guidelines, and a focus on positive service to families and children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in food service and preparation required.
• Experience with CACFP preferred.
• Ability to follow and maintain knowledge of a complex federal nutrition program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, apportion, and serve nutritious meals in compliance with CACFP and policies.
• Monitor food distribution and ensure guidelines are followed for special diets.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Take and record temperatures of food and storage areas; rotate and store properly.
