Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of work experience in a kitchen
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs on a routine basis
• Must communicate effectively in English
• Subject to pre-employment checks and health requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing CACFP-compliant food service programs
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods using standard recipes
• Work with Food and Nutrition Specialists on menus and orders
• Provide on-the-job training and assist youth programs as required
• Follow risk management procedures
