Job summary

Southwire Company in Villa Rica, GA is hiring a Cabler 1 Operator for the 2nd shift (M-F, 2:50 PM–11:00 PM). The role loads/unloads reels, makes hook splices, reads production orders, and selects tooling to meet specifications.

You will adjust lay length, binders, and operate the longitudinal taping head. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to stand and lift heavy loads, and English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision and communicate with the supervisor and peers through instruction and reports.
• Complete production orders to customer specifications to deliver a quality product on time.
• Inspect machines and perform quality checks before release.
• Place scrap into designated scrap bins.
