Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods.
• Must read and understand production orders and instrumentations on complex equipment.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion line and related equipment with correct tip, die and wire size.
• Maintain correct wire size, insulation thickness and concentricity.
• Ensure acceptable quality print on cable per specifications.
• Follow safety rules, maintain housekeeping and perform duties as assigned.
• Minimize wire and compound loss during start-up and change-overs.
