Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is a leading wire and cable producer with diverse manufacturing capabilities in North America. The Cabler 1 Operator role focuses on safe, efficient operation of cabling machines, loading reels, reading production orders, and ensuring quality through inspections and adherence to ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities include cross training, maintaining housekeeping, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read, write and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision and communicate with supervisor and peers.
• Complete production orders to customer specifications to deliver quality products on time.
• Perform machine inspections.
• Put scrap into designated scrap bins.
• Other duties as assigned.
