Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Cable Technician in Rock Hill, SC for a contract-to-hire role in data centers. No experience needed; we provide hands-on training and opportunities to grow into advanced technician positions. You will learn to install Cat6 and fiber, assist with cable routing, and help build telecom rooms.

Work with experienced teams across shifts, on-site, and with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. This role offers long-term stability in a booming industry.

Responsibilities

• Work both inside and outside as projects require.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, warehouse, manufacturing, military, landscaping, electrical helper, or general labor backgrounds who want to learn a skilled trade.

What You'll Do

As a Cable Technician, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to help build and support critical infrastructure inside some of the world's most advanced data centers.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to install Cat6 and fiber optic cabling.

Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
