TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Data Center Fiber Technician for a contract role in Rock Hill, SC. Join a growing team delivering hyperscale data center infrastructure with fiber installation, termination, and testing expertise.

Expect to work on large-scale projects, follow blueprints, and ensure safety and quality. Pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour with onsite employment and comprehensive benefits eligibility where applicable.

Data Center Fiber Technician Experienced Fiber Technicians Wanted | Data Center Projects Are you an experienced fiber technician looking for your next challenge? Join a growing team helping build out a state-of-the-art hyperscale data center. We're seeking skilled *Fiber Technicians *with strong fiber installation, termination, and testing experience who want to be part of large-scale, high-visibility infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Pull, route, and install fiber optic cabling
• Perform fiber and copper terminations
• Test and troubleshoot cabling systems
• Read and follow blueprints and installation drawings
• Label, organize, and dress cable runs
• Install cable trays, pathways, and support systems
• Build and ground server racks
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Preferred Experience

• Fiber optic cable installation
• Fiber termination and testing
• Copper termination
• Fluke testing experience
• Data center, structured cabling, or telecommunications projects
• Cable dressing and cable management

• Proven hands-on fiber experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights when required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rock Hill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
