Job summary

TEKsystems in Rock Hill, SC seeks a hands-on, entry-level Data Center Technician to join a contract role that supports building out a major data center complex. No prior experience required; on-the-job training will equip you with essential cable installation and rack setup skills.

You'll work onsite, learn fiber termination, grounding, and safety standards, and grow toward advanced roles in data center infrastructure as you gain hands-on experience on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Install cable trays and build server racks.

• Perform grounding, fire-stopping, and low-voltage terminations.
• Follow blueprints and complete documentation with precision.
• Support technicians and team leads on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Schedule: Full-time | Flexibility required (occasional 10–12 hour shifts, 6 days/week)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rock Hill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
