Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring entry-level Cable Technicians for a long-term data center build in Ashburn, VA. Contract to Hire with a pay range of $21.00–$25.00 per hour, onsite work, and comprehensive benefits. Build experience in structured cabling while supporting a large-scale data center project on a fully onsite basis.

The role requires climbing and lifting up to 40 lbs, valid driver’s license, basic hand tools, and OSHA 10 preferred or obtainable before start. Apply by Sep 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of structured cabling experience.
• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating cable.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a construction environment.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
• Must have basic hand tools and be comfortable using power tools.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

Long-Term Data Center Project | Entry-Level Opportunity

We're seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support a large-scale data center build project. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with structured cabling experience who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing industry while working on a long-term project.

What You'll Do

• Pull and route network and communications cabling
• Assist experienced technicians with structured cabling installations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
