Blue Origin Huntsville is seeking an experienced Harness Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer to translate engineering intent into scalable cable harness production. You will support harness builds, develop manufacturing work instructions, and qualify new fabrication processes on the shop floor.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor technicians, operate and troubleshoot automated wire testing equipment, drive DFMA efforts across the harness lifecycle, and ensure compliance with AS9100,

Competenze

• BS in Manufacturing, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering roles (levels 1–3 or senior).
• Knowledge of wire harness fabrication and related processes.

Mansioni

• Translate engineering intent, wire harness drawings, schematics, and configurations into fully functional cable harness hardware.
• Support the Cable Harness Shop on the manufacturing floor during fabrication and integration, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements, discrepancy resolution, and acceptance testing.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions covering receiving inspection, wire preparation, termination, fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing.
• Lead and mentor harness fabrication technicians on the shop floor; provide real-time technical guidance.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated wire testing equipment; evaluate results and disposition anomalies.
• Perform FMEA studies and drive DFMA across the harness lifecycle; implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 quality standards.
