Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist in Sayre, PA to be one of the first people customers meet. You’ll use sales expertise to help customers find products and turn project ideas into reality, in a fast‑paced store environment.

You’ll become a product expert, discussing specifications, promotions, and financing to close sales, and you may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, or other departments depending on hiring needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales with education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and highlighting Lowe’s advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors; provide estimates, schedule installers, process orders, and follow up on project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist requests on the sales floor.
• Train associates in the department through on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
