Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist in Flowood, MS to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll be part of a team that drives sales while delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will become a product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options, and help customers complete purchases with care. The role covers multiple departments based on need and skill.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience, or 3 years external sales experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department point of contact for customers and vendors; estimate projects and schedule installations.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels; work with vendors to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor; coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
