Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking a Cabin Design Engineer in Mobile, AL to lead STC cabin upgrade projects from inception to delivery. You will own cabin architecture, engineering deliverables, and equipment development, collaborating with global teams and suppliers to ensure on-time, within-budget execution.

You will oversee 3D/2D design work, perform weight and balance support, and ensure compliance with Airbus and aviation regulations while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aeronautic / Civil / Electrical).
• 9+ years in aviation cabin engineering, development, and certification paths preferred.
• Strong CATIA V5 experience and configuration management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cabin modification projects from inception to delivery, tracking schedule, cost and risk.
• Coordinate with Sales, suppliers and internal teams for feasibility and scope.
• Develop TRS, LLTI lists, and 3D/2D cabin design and drawings; support W&B and SB processes.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
