Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Cabin Design Engineer I (Contract) to support interior/cargo systems from concept to installation. You will perform 3D/2D design tasks, manage part numbers in PLM, and assist with FAL integration under guidance.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, review certification plans and test reports, and help draft airline specifications. Proficiency in Catia V5 and Google Workspace is required, with a BS in engineering and 0–3

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
• 0 to 3 years total experience in design/analysis with cabin and cargo and/or system installation projects.
• Strong proficiency using Google G Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design integration, maturation, and spatial layout using 3D modeling.
• Manage part numbers and BOM within PLM tools.
• Assist in compliance review and certification planning and documentation.
• Support FAL and manufacturing with installation issues and data.
• Coordinate with cabin interior suppliers and internal teams on drawings and specs.
• Prepare technical presentations and project deliverables for stakeholders.
