Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Cabin Engineer III for its Mobile, AL site to apply aviation-cabin engineering principles to challenging problems across product life cycles.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in cabin interior design, stress/integration analysis, and certification, with Catia V5 CAD experience and strong English communication. Proficiency in Python scripting and Google Workspace is preferred; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) required.
• 6+ years in aircraft cabin interior design, stress/integration analysis, and certification.
• Authorized to Work in the US.
• Strong proficiency using Google G Suite.
• Ability to write reports, specifications, work statements, and other technical documents.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented with proofreading and writing skills.
• English communication strong.
• CAD experience essential with Catia V5; MS Office/Google products.
• Ability to learn new tool sets as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical principles to cabin engineering to solve complex problems.
• Develop and deliver high-quality technical documents and presentations.
• Mentor team members on routine to moderately complex problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders.
• Utilize Python scripting to automate workflows and data analysis.
• Leverage Google Workspace and AI tools to streamline projects.
