Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a long-term, multi-semester Intern in Cabin Engineering to join the Design and Analysis Teams in Mobile, AL.

You will support engineering activities from design to certification of cabin interiors, using CAD/analysis tools and contributing to MBSE workflows. The role offers hands-on experience with stress, flammability, and weight impact analyses, under a dedicated mentor, with regular project presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Mobile, AL area for multi-semester, onsite internship.
• Enrolled in accredited 4-year engineering program in Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Civil, Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engineering design, analysis and certification activities for cabin interiors.
• Work with design tools to learn component integration within an aircraft.
• Generate engineering reports and templates to support current projects.
• Organize engineering data and route documents for review; compile weekly progress.
• Assist in developing presentation material (illustrations and data visuals).
