Job summary

CLA is seeking a Controller with Professional Service Industry experience to join the CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) practice. You will lead budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning, working in-office with client teams and management.

A Bachelor's degree is required; CPA is preferred. 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with QuickBooks and MS Office proficiency, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of accounting/financial experience required; public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and systems; QuickBooks highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies for budget, cash, and accounting.
• Direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment activities; prepare financial information.
• Prepare/oversee financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and regulatory reports.
• Assess funding needs and investment of surpluses; provide recommendations.
