JG Wentworth is seeking a Home Equity Sales Specialist in California to champion the Home Equity Cashout (HEC) product. You will engage customers, explain terms and benefits, and guide applicants through the funding process, aiming to maximize lead conversion and provide timely updates.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales within finance, a CA Broker License, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Active California broker license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years in experience.
• Minimum two years of recent experience in Sales preferably within Finance or as an MLO.
• MLO license through the NMLS preferred, not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage consumers who have inquired about financial solutions and inform them of this cash option.
• Describe the HEC terms, benefits, and cashout options to educate customers.
• Maximize conversion from lead to application, acceptance, approval, and funding.
• Manage inbound leads and cross-sell opportunities through proactive outreach.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of HEC applicants.
• Guide applicants through the application process with timely updates and clear direction.
• Demonstrate empathy and build rapport while identifying financial goals and offering solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Pursue continuous improvement through coaching and training.
• Ensure all transactions adhere to compliance standards.
• Meet or exceed daily metrics and monthly targets.
