Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to identify and resolve policy, compliance, and process issues, updating California employment law aligned practices. The role includes payroll changes, wage/hour compliance, timecard review, and benefits coordination, with onboarding and talent management support.

The position emphasizes full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, investigations, and training in a production/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible HR generalist experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual with strong Spanish skills and confidentiality.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve HR policy, compliance, and process issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain and update HR policies in line with California employment law; support payroll changes.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation; support benefits and training.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and performance issues.
