Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Deployment Strategist to bridge multi-million‑dollar customer problems with our Data + AI platform. You will own the product direction from discovery to production launch, building trust with C‑suite sponsors and guiding FDEs through architecture decisions.

You will define the MVP, write the PRD, manage the backlog, and drive the project to a successful landing with measurable business value and adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering complex, customer-facing data, analytics, AI, or software engagements.
• Experience delivering data, ML, or generative AI systems into production.
• Willingness to travel onsite with customers (often 25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Define MVP for pilot projects and write the PRD guiding engineering.
• Drive end-to-end product ownership and prioritize the engineering backlog.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with field/development engineers.
• Own Day 0 launch, production readiness, and ongoing adoption.
• Scope maintenance, create customer documentation, and drive future growth.
