Job summary

Acosta Employee Holdco LLC is seeking a Business Manager (C-Store) to drive sales and market share for assigned principals in a defined geography. You will manage the customer business, pursue profit for manufacturers and Acosta, and travel as needed.

As a key link between principals and retailers, you will lead strategic communication, coordinate with general managers, and develop impactful sales presentations while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven sales track record; experience with food broker or national company preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and marketing data for effective presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by increasing volume, share, and revenue with principals.
• Communicate priorities to Retail Sales Managers, IT, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure in-store presence.
• Report to GM or Team Leader and participate in introductions to new principals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
• Coordinate communication between General Managers and principals on major retail initiatives.
• Coordinate principals’ market visits and key account calls to sell programs.
• Develop sales presentations leveraging insights from leadership to meet principals' objectives.
• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of selling programs and initiatives.
• Maintain current account distribution information and review pricing reports for accuracy.
• Support personal skill development and share information with team members.
• Ensure compliance with client procedures and manage promotional plans and funds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
