Job summary

Terrible Herbst in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee to help establish and maintain outstanding customer service while overseeing the c-store operations, including gas pumps, merchandising, and cost control.

You will lead a team, schedule staff, train employees, ensure policy compliance, manage money handling and POS, and support district staffing with travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service in a busy c-store environment.
• Oversee store operations including gas pumps, merchandising, inventory, and scheduling.
• Train employees and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage money handling and POS to minimize errors and shrink.
• Prepare daily activity reports and fuel surveys; cover shifts and travel to other locations as needed.
