Job summary

Terrible Herbst is hiring an Assistant Manager Trainee to lead day-to-day store operations at our Las Vegas C-store, including gas pumps and merchandise. You’ll drive sales, manage inventory, and oversee staff performance to maintain high service standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to train employees, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs as needed.
• Must be able to train and manage employees and handle customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service and maintain a customer-friendly environment.
• Control shrink, expenses, and schedule staff per guidelines.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels and proper signage.
• Train employees on policies, procedures, and POS operations.
• Prepare daily activity reports and fuel surveys; cover shifts as needed.
