Job summary

Terrible's in Las Vegas area is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee to establish and maintain Customer Service and operate the c-store, including gas pumps. You will drive sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, and effective staff management while controlling operating costs and shrink.

The role requires leadership in training, adherence to policies, and ensuring proper certification and safety standards. Willingness to travel and cover shifts as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with customers in a busy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service in a busy c-store environment.
• Control shrink, expenses, and schedule employees per guidance.
• Maintain merchandise stock levels and ensure perishables are fresh.
• Ensure proper signage and adequately stocked selling floor.
• Train staff and verify certifications are current as required by policy and law.
• Handle money and operate POS with accuracy to minimize errors.
• Maintain Terrible Herbst standards and complete Daily Activity Reports.
• Complete the daily fuel survey and report variances.
• Address employee issues and performance; cover open shifts as needed.
• Travel to other district locations to support staffing; be available for shifts.
