Terrible Herbst is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee for our Las Vegas, NV location to oversee the c-store operations, manage staff, and maximize sales and profitability. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage inventories, schedules, and cash handling with precision.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Ensure outstanding customer service in a busy environment and maintain high standards of operations.
• Control shrink, expenses, and schedule employees per guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels, ensure perishables are within dates, and keep selling floor stocked with signage.
• Train staff and ensure certifications are current as required by state/federal and company policies.
• Handle money and operate POS and other store equipment to minimize errors.
• Prepare daily activity reports and complete the daily fuel survey.
• Cover open shifts and travel to other district locations to support staffing needs.
• Be available to work any shift and be on-call to cover sick calls.
