Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate/Cashier at the Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC to process customers and support sales growth. You will greet customers, operate the register, and maintain store and fuel area cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays, basic English, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. This is an on-site hourly position reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts at times.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and maintains cash control within guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area and equipment.
• Cleans/stocks exterior property and fuel tanks.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties safely and follows safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
