Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. The role is on-site at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD, requiring five days per week on location and U.S.

citizenship with an active Secret clearance. Requirements include a BS in engineering or computer science, strong C++ skills, and experience with Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio. Preferred skills include Jira, Confluence, Ada, DOORS, Cameo, modeling and simulation

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience with Oracle databases
• Experience with Visual Studio

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
