Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD.

This on-site role requires 5 days per week in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on engineering excellence. Applicants must hold an Active Secret Clearance and have a BS in engineering or computer science, plus experience with C++, Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required for access to classified information.
• Write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
