Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. The role is on-site at a government facility (NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD) and requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver robust software solutions for avionics systems. Required Linux (RHEL), Oracle, and Visual Studio experience, plus a BS in engineering or CS.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or computer science.
• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Ada, DOORS, and Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, designs, tests, and documentation to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
