Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. This on-site role at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary’s County, MD requires a present Secret clearance and US citizenship.

The candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team, applying Linux, Oracle, and Visual Studio expertise to ensure conformance with contract requirements and to advance mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or computer science.
• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) and Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
