Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts on-site at the NAVAIR-PAX River facility in St. Mary’s County, MD. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.

The role requires BS in engineering or computer science and hands-on experience with C++, Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential to meet contract requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
Experience with Linux operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Experience with Oracle databases.
Experience with Visual Studio.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Familiarity with Ada programming language.
Experience with DOORS and/or Cameo.
Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S) systems/programs.
Experience with hardware integration and SW/HW interfaces.
Knowledge of military avionics.

Responsibilities

Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
