Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. This on-site position is located at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary’s County, MD, requiring presence 5 days a week.

Applicants must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and be a US citizen. Required: C++, Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio; preferred: Jira, Confluence, DOORS, Cameo, M&S, hardware interfaces, and knowledge of military avionics.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
