Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer for the Autonomy Framework team to build a cutting-edge framework enabling collaborative autonomy across air, ground, and maritime domains. You will craft core C++ systems, integrate with domain platforms, and collaborate with autonomy engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver robust software foundations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong C++ programming skills with modern C++ (C++20 or later).
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or similar.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop Core Framework Software: Design and implement high-performance C++ systems for collaborative autonomy in multi-domain environments.
• Enable Collaborative Autonomy: Create software that coordinates multiple autonomous agents across domains.
• Support Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with autonomy engineers, product managers, and customers to gather requirements.
• Leverage Modern Development Tools: Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Optimize Performance: Profile, debug, and optimize code for real-time performance.
