Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Autonomy Framework team in Sunnyvale. You will develop core C++ systems and enable collaborative autonomy across multi‑domain environments, working with autonomy engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver robust, scalable frameworks.

You will leverage Python and shell scripting for automation, use AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to high‑performance, real‑time software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong C++ programming skills with modern C++ (C++20 or later).
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar).
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop Core Framework Software: Design and implement high‑performance C++ systems for collaborative autonomy in multi‑domain environments.
• Enable Collaborative Autonomy: Develop software to coordinate autonomous agents across domains.
• Support Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with autonomy engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver solutions.
• Leverage Modern Development Tools: Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Automate Workflows: Create scripts and tools to improve development velocity and testing efficiency.
