Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. The role is based on-site at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary’s County, MD, with 5 days a week in the office.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required. You will write, review, and test C++ code on Linux (RHEL), work with Oracle databases and Visual Studio, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience working with Linux Operating Systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
