Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a 100% US-based remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. Location: Remote. Type: Full Time.

Five or more years of experience in .NET technologies are expected, with strong C# skills and REST APIs. Ideal candidates will be proficient in MVC architecture, SQL Server, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern development tooling. You will work in an Agile environment, mentor juniors, and ensure secure, scalable software

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development using .NET technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise apps.
• Experience with X12 medical claims (EDI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with microservices and containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and requirements definition for software systems.
• Develop back-end services using .NET, unit tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and document designs.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies.
