Job summary

BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Commercial & Industrial solar and energy storage. You will grow a regional portfolio, engage EPCs, developers, and commercial installers, and lead consultative, solution-oriented sales across longer project cycles.

The role reports to the Director of Sales, C&I Solar & Energy Storage, and requires travel within the assigned region. You will build pipelines, forecast, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver tailored

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 3–5 years B2B sales or business development in C&I solar, energy storage, or related fields.
• Direct experience selling to C&I EPCs, developers, or project owners preferred.
• Experience with wholesale distribution is a plus.
• Knowledge of project development, procurement, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional C&I sales strategy and account plans to meet revenue targets.
• Prospect and build relationships with EPCs, developers, and commercial installers.
• Manage strategic accounts across design, procurement, construction, and replenishment.
• Maintain a disciplined opportunity pipeline with accurate forecasts and CRM updates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support product selection and delivery.
• Monitor market conditions, incentives, and competitor activity for risk and growth.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, events, and regional networks.
• Escalate risks early and drive cross-functional resolution with ownership.
