Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Northwest US. The role emphasizes technical and strategic selling of PV modules to Commercial and Utility markets, with up to 50% travel.

You will nurture relationships with developers, installers, and EPCs, driving revenue and market share from US factories and operations. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of B2B solar sales experience, a strong network, and proven deal-closing ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B selling experience, including 3+ years in PV solar industry.
• Strong network of renewable energy stakeholders and installers.
• Residence in Northwestern US within one hour of a major airport.
• Experience creating Quotations and Purchase Orders and processing orders through logistics.

Responsibilities

• Contact and meet prospects to build relationships and position Canadian Solar products.
• Generate new leads via face-to-face meetings, industry events, and data-mining installer lists.
• Enter field data into CRM in real time to support marketing strategies.
• Achieve targets for sales volume, revenue, and gross margin; manage territory.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from quotes to PO to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to close opportunities.
