Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch seeks an experienced Credit Risk professional to evaluate and underwrite C&I exposures, aligning with the bank's risk appetite and policies. The role involves monitoring asset quality across US Branch loan portfolios and updating risk policies in line with regulatory changes.

You will perform industry and product research, prepare portfolio reporting, and support front office with loan structuring and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of C&I corporate credit risk and underwriting for Associate level; 4+ years for AVP level
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance/Economics/Accounting; MBA/CFA preferred
• Demonstrate sound financial analysis and modeling skills, understanding of credit risk management and C&I industry
• Bilingual ability in Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

• Credit Risk Review: Review and analyze credit requests with minimal supervision, including limit structure, historical performance, base/stress case projections, and third party reports.
• Portfolio Management: Conduct annual/quarterly reviews, monitor industry trends, and manage exceptions/pipelines.
• Knowledge and Learning: Develop industry knowledge for the portfolio and stay informed on banking products and regulatory requirements
