Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a C-17 Systems Engineer for a contract assignment to support airworthiness, documentation, and certification on C-17 programs in a dynamic team environment.

The role emphasizes applying systems engineering principles, coordinating with multiple functions, and delivering technical artifacts for modernization efforts. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, math, physics or chemistry.
• 1+ years in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years PM experience and aircraft systems knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in cross-functional environments.
• Experience with requirements traceability matrix management.
• Experience with airworthiness methodology and criteria.
• Experience with MIL-STD 516C.
• Apply systems engineering to design, docs, testing, and certification.

Responsibilities

• Support airworthiness evaluations related to project plans and design changes.
• Develop and maintain requirements aligned with regulatory and customer needs.
• Collaborate to support compliance and certification activities.
• Prepare airworthiness compliance documentation and data.
• Apply systems engineering principles to documentation, testing, and certification.
• Review data to support findings, recommendations, and issue resolution.
• Support verification, validation, qualification, and certification efforts as needed.
• Use MS Office tools to develop and present technical information.
