Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a skilled C-17 Modification Mechanic to perform aircraft modification and maintenance on-site at a military installation in North Charleston, SC. You will work on a new C-17 modification speed line for communication system upgrades and modernization efforts.

The role requires experience in aircraft modification or retrofit, ability to read engineering drawings, and hands-on work with airframe, avionics, hydraulic and propulsion systems in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with aircraft modification, maintenance, or retrofit is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform C-17 modification and structural repair work.
• Install and support upgraded communication systems.
• Inspect components and verify flightworthiness per specs.
