Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a senior program manager to oversee the C-17 Operational Training Systems across multiple sites, coordinating with engineering, logistics and government representatives to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

The role requires C-17 experience, strong leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and interact with CAE management and customers in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Military Air Mobility Management experience preferred.
• C-17 experience at Wing/Group/Squadron level required.
• Knowledge of C-17 flight simulator and training services market.
• Experience in developing training solutions.
• Strong knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with PM software is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and present to customers and CAE management.

Responsibilities

• Manage C-17 Training System Operations and Maintenance across sites.
• Lead and mentor program staff at CONUS and OCONUS training sites.
• Apply change, risk and resource management to complex programs.
• Ensure sites comply with DoD/ CBA agreements and handle grievances.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, cybersecurity, and operations to meet goals.
• Conduct medium to large technical and management meetings with internal and external customers.
• Provide leadership feedback on program metrics and contract activities.
