We’re looking for a dynamic Purchasing Specialist to play a critical role in our production success. In this position, you’ll be at the heart of a fast-moving manufacturing environment, managing the procurement of essential materials, supplies, and services that keep our plant and facilities running at peak performance.

You'll partner across teams, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure we’re always stocked, cost-efficient, and ready to meet production goals—on time, every time. Job Details

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of end-to-end purchasing for direct and indirect materials, ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement that supports uninterrupted production.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source competitive pricing, negotiate terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders through our digital systems, maintaining detailed records for compliance and reporting.
  • Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot issues, and keep production teams informed and equipped.
  • Partner with internal departments—from accounting to scheduling—to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and optimize inventory strategies.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Help maintain a safe, smooth-running environment by ensuring supplies and services are aligned with production schedules.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of equivalent experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you’re the kind of person who double-checks everything and catches issues before they happen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a big plus.
  • Working knowledge of supply management, logistics, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
