Vertiv is seeking a dynamic R&D Product Development Engineer in Anderson, SC to contribute to the innovation and enhancement of our Busway product line. As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our offerings in the industry.

Your expertise will help drive the design, development, and support the successful launch of new products, ensuring they meet market demands, industry standards, and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/design technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling using SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA or equivalent.
• 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T knowledge.
• PLM software proficiency and related applications.
• Strong organization, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define product specifications, features and functionalities per standards.
• Develop product designs per standards (IEC61439 & UL857).
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings; perform NPDI documentation.
• Coordinate testing for development and certification.
• Collaborate with suppliers, Offering Management, Marketing and Sales.
• Maintain drawings and documentation; ensure timely responses.
