Job summary

Rodizio Grill — The Brazilian Steakhouse in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a dedicated busser to maintain clean, well-set tables and support service teams. This role emphasizes teamwork and fast-paced dining room operation.

You will set up tables, wipe surfaces, transport plates to the kitchen, sweep floors, and restock utensils while coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong teamwork ethic; communicate openly with servers and kitchen staff.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain upon hire per local requirements.
• Must stand, walk, and carry 35+ lbs for 5–7 hours per shift.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Bussers keep the restaurant busy! They set up and prepare tables for upcoming reservations. Wipe clean tables and chairs, take plates, utensils, and glasses to the kitchen to be washed, sweep the floor, and reset tables for the next service. Restock the plates and utensils.

This is a physically active position that demands precision and a team-first mentality. You will work in close, continuous coordination with servers, the host team, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless, memorable dining experience from the first moment a guest arrives at their perfectly clean and set table.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and attentiveness.
• Strong teamwork ethic; willingness to communicate openly with servers and kitchen staff throughout every shift.
• Food handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire, per local requirements).
• Must be able to stand, walk, and carry 35+ lbs for extended periods — typically 5-7 hours per shift.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends (Saturday & Sunday), and holidays.
