Job summary

Rodizio Grill - The Brazilian Steakhouse in Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly, energetic Busser to prepare tables for reservations, wipe surfaces, and help maintain a spotless dining room.

This physically active role requires teamwork with servers and kitchen staff, ability to stand for long periods, and flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required, and a food handler certification may be required.

Bussers keep the restaurant busy! They set up and prepare tables for upcoming reservations. Wipe clean tables and chairs, take plates, utensils, and glasses to the kitchen to be washed, sweep the floor, and reset tables for the next service. Restock the plates and utensils.

This is a physically active position that demands precision and a team-first mentality. You will work in close, continuous coordination with servers, the host team, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless, memorable dining experience from the first moment a guest arrives at their perfectly clean and set table.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and attentiveness.
• Strong teamwork ethic; willingness to communicate openly with servers and kitchen staff throughout every shift.
• Food handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire, per local requirements).
• Must be able to stand, walk, and carry 35+ lbs for extended periods - typically 5-7 hours per shift.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends (Saturday & Sunday), and holidays.
