Job summary

San Pedro Fish Market Long Beach is seeking a Busser to support our wait staff by maintaining a clean, organized dining room and delivering a great guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of related restaurant experience, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and current Food Handler’s Card and LEAD Card.

The role is on-site with flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, and participates in standard safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience in a similar work environment.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Card and LEAD Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with excellent service and assist when necessary.
• Clear and clean tables throughout the guest’s stay and after departure.
• Quickly attend to dining room spills.
• Adapt to changing guest volume with urgency.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Keep self-serve areas clean and well-stocked.
• Ensure tables are set according to restaurant guidelines.
• Maintain clean, sanitized restrooms following guidelines.
