Job summary

Gilley’s in Park City, KS is seeking a Bus Person to maintain clean tables, replenish supplies, and support Food Servers to deliver outstanding guest service. You will clean and reset tables, sanitize dining areas, and assist with beverage and condiments, while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, able to work nights/weekends, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• One year of direct customer contact experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply dining room and tables with clean plates, silverware, glassware, condiments, and paper supplies.
• Remove dirty dishes and reset tables; clean and sanitize chairs and booths.
• Refill water, coffee, and other beverages; restock beverages and refrigerated items.
• Maintain clean and stocked workstation and respond to guest needs.
• Assist in resolving guest concerns and report incidents to management.

JOB SUMMARY:It is the primary responsibility of the Bus person to maintain assigned section and tables in a clean sanitary condition while working in conjunction with Food Servers to ensure outstanding guest service is constantly achieved.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Supplies the dining room and individual guest tables with clean plates, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper supplies as neededRemoves dirty dishes, soiled linens, glassware and silverware from table and counter tops, cleans table and counter tops according to procedure, then carries soiled items back to the dishwashing areaClean and sanitize chairs & booth cushionsRefills water glasses and coffee upon request of guestsReplenishes butter, condiments, coffee, tea and refrigerated items used in the dining roomResets the tables and performs other related duties as requested by Food ServerMaintains clean and stocked workstationEnsure all lost and found articles are immediately turned into ManagementEnsure dining room floors are clean and free of spills and debrisMust be able to deal with high volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerfulBuilds guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them backObserves activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinaryCapable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationshipsAssists in maintaining a spotless facility by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left on the floor by guestsAdheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the sameEmpowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount.
